Bought my parts yesterday. Saved a bit more and got roller stuff as well. Ended up spending 3,600.
Started tearing my block down today and noticed a few problems. Got a couple spark plugs that are white and a few exhaust valves that are a different shade. I didnt see any flattened/worn cam lobes. Anyway, this problem should be OBE.
All looks normal for a high mile engine. Looks like a couple cylinders either burning a little oil or richer than the others. Can't really tell from the camera angles as how the cylinder walls look. Looks like it was run but not abused. A look at the rods and mains will tell more as far as bearing wear, crank journals too.
