ECO Mode
I am finding that ECO mode on my 2018 Expedition is getting some pretty good MPG numbers. Small issue but wondered if there is a way to set ECO mode as the default mode. I find myself switching to ECO mode every time I remember to do so.

But to answer your question and if my information is correct, ECO mode is not the default just in case of an emergency situation where immediate power is necessary, such as avoiding a crash.

Eco mode is definitely not something one would use on Texas highways. Have it on my 2018 F150 with 2.7 eco. Was only getting about 16mpg at the legal speed limit of 75 on a trip to West Texas. After second fill up, changed to normal mode and mpg jumped 3 mpg on average. Was also using trip to kind of compare computer to actual on mpg and it was consistently pretty darn close.
