actually they might be for sale but I have to try and locate a member I promised them to a couple of years ago. I lost his contact info in yet another computer crash. I'm going to try and get his info off my old hard drive, If I can't I'll post an ad. I have all 5 and I'm building a 1/2 ton, so not needed.
PS; I was thinking, if I do put them up for sale I would probably swap them even for a set of stock 15" or 16" 5x5.5 steel wheels. I've had a bitch of a time trying to locate original wheels around here.
I’ll call dibs on that swap. I’ve got your full set of 16” x 4.5” half ton Ford 8C 1015s / K-H 31283s. Sorry Mark! In fairness, though, your Budd 71410s are worth a lot more. Stu
It's all good, I was just curious why the random pic of a 19.5. I have my two sets. I'm currently in need of a couple 8 lug 17.5s. That's the next set we are trying to finish out.
Lol, As you know I now have two sets of the 19.5s and two sets of the bias 19.5 traction tires. With the MH F3 so far on the back burner that I think the Mohawks are going on the red 60 next year along with a correct bed. The set of studded 19.5's are currently on the 67 and the new 62 is currently sitting on a set of widow 17's. It's the first set of 17's with bias traction tires I have ever seen and I LOVE the look. So I figure the next best thing will be 17.5s and iirc I can buy new bias 17.5 traction tires.
The widow makers with 7.50-17s are the same basic size as your 8-19.5s. I’ve got two sets of the Courser 7.50-17s for my trucks, and a spare set of the original Budd 59340s for them. It’s hard to tell the 17s from the 19.5s looking at them. This picture is a mix of 17s and 19.5s. The 17.5s are a shorter tire. Stu
O yea, I forgot about that Stu. Maybe I should think about 16 inch. Nebraska tire is have a heck of a sale right now on 7.50x16 bias ply traction tires! I would post a link but you know I'm not that handy at this computer stuff.

Truckdog, are those actually 4 1/2" wide? Will they take a 7.50x16 ? Do you know what tires came on them?
Yes, the original half ton wheels are 4.50” wide - measured across the inner base rim. The earlier Ford car and truck wheels of the 1940s were just 4.00” wide. The tire options on the 4.50” were 16” x 6.00” or 6.50”. By industry standards, as published by the Tire and Rim Association, a 7.50” tire is too big for that width rim. But, as with other examples I’ve seen, it’s been done. For instance, on my own F-3 M-Hs a 7.50” tire was optional from the factory on both 4.33” and 5.00” wheel options. Why a 7.50” tire works on one and not the other I can’t say. Mine are 17” but that doesn’t make any difference. Stu

I'd bet my left sock that this is the web site. $80 a tire seems like a VERY good deal.
I was looking at these wondering if they would look good on my 4x4, too. Firth, Nebraska. Is it the same guys? I assume with the 12 ply rating it is a different company. Odd they are both in Firth.
