Trans and Headers
Hey everyone. I am starting my restore of my 1957 f-100 short bed. I am trying to pick out a solid trans and headers hat will work on the truck with a 351 Windsor. I want to make it manual. I have also converted the front end with the crown vic ifs. The truck should have between 450 and 550 hp when finished. Can someone please give me some suggestions. Also what about a steering column.

In not 100 sure yet. Its off at the body shop now and my tech needs me to order a trans and headers. I probably will if it will work its in good shape.. Also do you know of a good steering coloum to get? I still need that as well. Everything else i have.. Rear , drive shafts and suspension and what not. I have never restored a car before so this is all new to me.
