Windsor Headers
Hey guys, I have a 351w in my 66 and also have a 3 speed on column with power steering. The truck currently has longtube headers on it but have rusted through in a few spots. Does anyone know of replacement headers for my setup? The guy that previously owned the truck "persuaded" the headers to fit around steering components and notched the crossmember and I dont want to "persuade" a new set. Thanks in advance.

There were no Ws installed in these trucks so there will not be any listed. I have read here several times that 302 shorties (69-79) will work. Maybe 68, I always forget first year for 302, but look at 73-79 since you have ps.

You might want to look into fox body mustang style headers. As theres lots of companys around that makes headers for Windsors in mustangs. Me and my dad did a 302 swap into his 67 f100 and I ordered him MAC long tubes and they did fit pretty well from what I remember. hope this helps?

With Bendix power steering box, as you are aware, the long tube headers will be an issue, not so with the Ford box but then the steering column becomes the issue. Understand Sanderson Headers will make them to fit but I have heard pro's and con's about the quality. Would imagine a muffler shop should be able to route the exhaust using the shorties, suggest drop by couple that have been in business awhile, may have installed simular, or same system; or perhaps an FTE member with same set up will be able to provide suggestions.
