1997 Expedition Speedometer/ Odometer INOP
Any suggestions? Does this have a cable and plastic gear or is there a speed sensor that controls all of this? It comes and goes but has mostly stopped working. 4.6 XLT Miles are mechanical, not digital. Not sure what years had what. Is there a VSS on the rear end? Coincidentally, the transmission lost 3rd and 4th gear a few weeks before. 341k miles! Still drives mint in 1st and 2nd gear around town!
