Drivers side vent

Can anyone help to explain how to remove the drivers side vent at the kick panel on my '77 F250 ? Can't get to the top 2 screws due to the e-brake bracket.

Well if you don't want to remove the e brake , only option would be to drill a hole big enough to get a screw driver though , of course you might get a screw driver bit an a small wrench to turn it, might be enough room for that the way it is

Just remove the e-brake bracket. I think the screws are too long to get them to back out with it in place.

Remove the e-brake bracket. The vent is 2-3 inches deep.

Thanks for the feedback but after taking out the 3/8 bolt that holds the bracket to the dash I noticed these. Looks like some sort of fastener, 2 of them, holding it to the firewall. Sorry for the bad focus, tight spot. Any more suggestions ?

Yes undo the 2 nuts on the engine bay side and it will come loose.

Yes, those nuts are kinda a pain to get to. If I recall, just under the master cylinder. Now is a good time to lube the workings in the pedal assembly.
