Has anyone tried to remove the badges yet? I plan on removing the 4×4 sticker as soon as my f-350 arrives. But, I want to remove the quarter panel badge. But, I dont know if it has pin holes or (fingers crossed) it is just taped on. Anyone tried yet and have any imput?
I do hope you've been close enough to see this vent is built in to the fender. Removing it will leave you with a hole the size of the whole badge. Not that it couldn't be filled by a body shop, but the badges definitely are just "stickers".
Here's a photo of the back of one that shows some of the depth to it-
Looks like if you take the letters off...if you are able..the King Ranch part is still part of the chrome badge/vent. Also...what's left on the truck where the "Open" vent holes direct air to. Can you show a pic of the truck with it off to see if it does have a functioning hole for air to pass??
Thanks,
I took a drive in one for the Ford event, but did not pay close attention to the "vent". I saw it and just thought it was the new badge. Well, looks like it is staying for some time then
