Hey guys, I’m new to this forum and this is the first Powerstroke I’ve owned in 15 yrs. by intercooler cold side pipes failed a couple days ago on my ‘11 F350 6.7. After reading posts here are saying that this is a really common problem for the 6.7. I have a new pipe on order but here’s my question. Since the pipe failure i’ve had to drive the truck a little just to get around so now my check engine light and the “wrench” light is on. Just this morning I got a “Reduced Engine Power” Message. I assume the truck is about to go into limp mode. After I get the new intercooler pipe on, what will I need to do to clear all the codes and warning lights? Also should I worry about any other issues from the pipe failure? One more question, I also started getting the check coolant additive Message. Truck has 154k miles. Should I have the coolant flushed and replaced? Thanks for any advice you guys can give!
replace the pipe and clear the codes and go from there. Best to not drive it or tape the leak closed at least.
As for the check coolant...it is not related. it will come on to remind you to check it. So check it and clear the message.

You can cut a coke can and tape it up good around the hole where it burst until you get the replacement. I would suggest putting on an aftermarket metal pipe as it will burst again. You can clear the check coolant from the display options.
