Removing rear end
can anyone point me to a step-by-step for removing the rear end on my ‘07 f350 SRW 4x4? It has not seen a lot of winter, so hoping that the fasteners aren’t too rusty. Thank you in advance. Steve

Ok, First go and spray every nut with PB BLASTER 2x/day. Hopefully you have a quality impact wrench it will make this a lot easier. You’re going to need jack stands the HF 12 ton are cheap, very sturdy and give you plenty of height. Put them in front of rear axle. Block the front wheels front and rear! Disconnect any electronics going to rear axle first, colored electrical tape yellow to yellow, red to red etc will help you keep them organized if more than a couple. Block the rear axle wheels, front and rear! Disconnect the brake lines, replace the hoses before reassembling, Id also flush them too. Disconnect DS, shocks, Sway bars, and leaf springs-it may help to support the leafs with blocks of wood. Once everything is disconnected roll the axle out. YouTube may have a video but it’s really not hard.

Done it a few times...if you cant get it high enough, remove wheels to set on couch dolly, because i found using the receiver to be a good place to hold her..chaulk front tires, undo driveshaft at yoke, shocks, swaybar if there, and remove the clip at the brakeline. Unplug sensor atop the rearend and vent line..once done, undo the ubolts. No need to mess with leafsprings/bolts....the job ourdy straight forward
