X/V-code sway bar link mount mod

Anyway, it is basically this- when you swap V-codes or X-codes (aftermarket in my case, so what, in between?), your sway bar arms are no longer parallel-ish to the ground with the factory links. I've seen some people just ignore it, and others switch to a longer link. Since I already bought new links BEFORE I decided to change the springs (and I'm cheap), and I happened to have an F-250's link-to-frame mount laying around, I started to compare the two.
STOCK EXCURSION LINK MOUNT- It mounts inside the frame rail with two bolts going up through the bottom of the frame rail. The link mounts to it with a long bolt that goes through the link, the link mount, and the side of the frame rail.
STOCK F-250 LINK MOUNT- It also mounts inside the frame rail, just like the Excursion part, but it has an ear that drops BELOW the bottom of the frame. You just add a bolt and nut through it where the link used to mount (to the side of the frame), but WITHOUT attaching the link in that position. The link now attaches to the ear that hangs below the frame. The sway bar arms are now as parallel-ish as they were before, using the stock Excursion links.
In the pic below, the stock Excursion frame mount is on the left, the F-250 mount is on the right.
This photo shows the stock Excursion mount sitting in it's place on the frame rail (ignore the rust).
And this photo shows how the arms of the sway bar aren't even close to parallel with the aftermarket X-codes installed.
Here's what the F-250 frame mount looks like sitting in place. You'll want to use grade-8 nuts and bolts to mount this- two through the bottom (this mount isn't threaded like the original, so you need nuts too), and one through the frame side (where the link used to mount).
And finally, here is a shot of what the sway bar arms look like with everything bolted in place, using the OEM-style Excursion links.
PARTS USED-
Stock F-250 link-to-frame brackets- either junk yard or part number F81A-5C495-BH (F81Z is the most current prefix, apparently)
(4) 3/8" diameter x 1-1/2" bolts with nuts (2 per side, mounts through lower rail)
(2) 7/16 diameter x 1-1/2" bolts with shouldered nuts (because the frame hole is a little larger)
(2) OEM F-250 upper link bolts or equivalent (they are much shorter than the Excursion bolts, as they only go through the bracket, instead of the mount and frame)
This mod may come in handy on down the road when you have to change your links again, because if you have CRS syndrome like me (Can't Remember S***), you just have to buy factory Excursion links.
