I have a 99 f250 4x4. I recently changed the wheel hubs and since then my front driveshaft keeps catching on something inside the hub. Turning on 4wd fixes the noise coming from it. I’ve taken it apart and it still continues. Any suggestions?

You mean the axle? Whats a wheel hub? There are Locking hubs and hub bearings. Have to be clear in your communication to get a valid answer.
The driveshaft goes from the transfer case to the front differential..left and right axles go into the bearings and locking hubs..
Let us guess here......”WHEEL HUB” .....you are speaking about the locking hubs????? Correct????? If you recently changed out the locking hubs, and that is when you noticed the clicking in the front end, and the noise goes away when you engage 4WD; then you obviously have something wrong with the locking hubs. When you are in 2WD the hubs rotate and your axle does not; therefore creating a situation that could cause the noise. When you are in 4WD, your hub and axle rotate together eliminating the sound. Hope this is as clear as mud for you.
When dealing with things mechanical.....when something new is installed/replaced and you get a new sound.......the first place to look is the item that was installed/replaced.
Good luck.
And yes, use of proper terminology helps others to help you. Takes the guessing game away.
