Has anyone had good luck with your clear bra being applied over the SUPER DUTY on the hoods? One of the first things im doing is the hood, fenders and up the door/body to the body line. My concern is the film staying down into the indented letters on the hood.
I drove mine straight from the dealer to the clear bra guy. You can see a few small bubbles down in the corners of the letters, but you really have to look, and I'm more interested in the protection provided than it being completely invisible.
If it's a good quality clear vinyl, I am very skeptical of it staying in those letters without bubbling. Itll be too thick. They make them cut out. If you do it you can always try and cut it yourself.

This is a very common question that we get asked. While it is possible to get the film to stick in the letters, it is not ideal as it's extremely hard to do and to get them to stick for a long period of time. Because of this, we would recommend using a pre-cut pattern that already has the letters cut out to that the installer can line them up without having to trim all of that by hand.
