I started this thread in 2017+ Super Duty, lots of visits but no answers. I am hoping that somebody here will be able to answer it for me...
does anybody know the difference between Ford wheels bc3z1015c and bc3z1015ccp ? There is no photo on any Ford parts store site of the 'CCP' and they run $50+/- less than the 'C'...does anybody know if they are functionally the same?? Thank you.
the two always appear together so I suspect they are similar (maybe finish??) for a $50 difference I am interested in knowing if I can use the lower cost CCPs...thank you.

CP at the end of the PART NUMBER SUFFIX indicates COLLISION PART. They are refurbished and refinished. FORD does this to be competitive with aftermarket collision part suppliers. They will most likely want the old wheel and if it cannot be saved will require a core charge.
Try KEYSTONE for refurbished wheels and see if cheaper.
