Coil Spring Conundrums
Hello FTEs!!!! Does any one know where i can find detailed info on coil spring specs? Im interested to know things like free and compressed spring height, lb/in ratings, steel grade, etc. Ive searched specific manufactures (Rancho, Pro Comp, Superlift and so on) and none of them list any of this info!!! You all probably think Im nuts for wanting to know the nitty gritty but what can i say...its the nerd in me!!! Any ways... hopefully theres some one out there as curious as i am and more adept on the Ol' WWW that can point me in the right direction. I look forward to hearing from you all and thank you for any help you all can provide.

Start with EATON SPRING. They were the original suppliers to FORD.
Also, the MPC will give you some basic information.
As for aftermarket, you will have to ask specifically for their specs. You would have to know the original suspension ratings to do any modification(s) if you are as CDO as I am.
