Thanks for the info. It might help explain why my truck doesn’t kick the rear out like some guys say sometimes happens when hitting bumps.

For clarity on the frame question, for anyone else seeking an answer.

I have an 18 Max Tow with 20’s and have an HPP frame at 145WB.

Curious. That combo (145" and HPP) don't appear in that chart. HPP only shows for 141", 157", and 164".

That’s also a 2017 chart. The truck is a 2018. It’s not a mistake in printing as I saw another one while I was searching.

So post up a picture of the frame sticker. It would help us keep track of frame codes when people ask in the future.

I'm trying to spec a 2019 with Max Tow and HDPP but it won't let me have anything other than the HD 18" wheels. LT tires are only showing in 18" size. What's the trick to get 20's? Maybe you can't anymore.

Also, I can't seem to get the 302a package with this combo. Is that right?

No 20s available with the HDPP. The 18s will give you LT rated tires. No LT rated 20s are offered.

Correct no 20" wheels with HDPP. You gain GVWR but lose towing capacity according to the published guide.

So I got my 2019 XLT. 157", 3.5 Eco, Max Tow, and 20" rims. My frame sticker has the "HD" marking.

Guess you have to actually get the HDPP to get that frame. But then you can't get Max Tow.

With the XLT did you order 301a? Anything above 301a gets the 156.8HD frame in that configuration due to payload restrictions. You do still get the rear spring upgrades and sway bar upgrades with the ordering of 20" wheels. This appears to apply to 2019 trucks. So far I have verified 5 xlt trucks and only the 301a trucks have the HPP frame. All the XL trucks have it when ordered with 156.8 frame and max tow from what I have seen in person. You can order max tow and max payload package together but its option restricted.

I have the HD 156.8 frame with the 2019 STX FX4.

Really? Max tow and everything? The ones I have seen are HPP.
