There is no pump in the tank, pick up "foot" screens and of course the fuel gauge assembly. The pump is external and on the frame rail by the drivers side door.
You guys dont "see" it? Think, BIGS getn close....i have to wonder if, these techs need parts. My neighbor with his jeep FINALLY figured out that, his "shop" owner, has a son with exact jeep. If not swapping parts, it was doubling the price for parts to furnish the sons ride....
So they got the new cups and injector in and went to start the truck. As soon as the batteries were hooked up the fuel pump fired and the radio and dash lights came on. They started the truck and ran it for a bit and said it sounded better. When they went to shut it off it wouldn't turn off. The dash and everything comes on anytime the batteries are hooked up. I'm thinking GEM module but would be open to opinions.
Metal twister had an issue very similar to this and it ended up being a pin had came out of the ignition switch linkage inside the steering column. The switch would not return to the off position when the key was turned off. Might be worth looking into.
