Has anyone on here tried or looked into putting the floor shifter from a 2015 and up F150 into the 2017 and up super duty.
I have a 2017 F250 king ranch with a 6.2 gas engine. From what i have been able to find on the ford parts lists for the F150 and super duty
it certainly looks like it should work, but my local dealer is pretty much a nay sayer and no help at all. i think if i get a complete console with the shifter
i should have most of what i need fairly cheap. lookin for some helpful insight or maybe someone who has done it and has the exact parts list.

I am interested in this as well as I got used to manually shifting occasionally on my F150's. However, I will say that I adapted to the column shift quicker than expected and occasionally turn on the wipers in my wife's Edge when I drive it.
My truck is a diesel, so not sure of potential differences.
I know a guy in Houston that did this mod. I can get you his number?
Bryan
If he's not a member here, maybe you could ask him to join, and post a "How To" on what he did . . . I posted this very topic a couple of weeks ago, and got no responses . . .
The only problem with this mod is it would leave me with only 5 cup holders in reach of the drivers seat. I really need all 7.
In all seriousness, for those of us with adaptive steering that can’t do the paddle shifters, this might be a nice mod. Would require relocating the dead battery key fob antenna. Wonder where that’s located on the 150’s.
Why would you want to go through all the trouble? Just curious.
When I first bought my truck, I thought it would be cool to have a console shift SD, but I've learned to love the big open space of the SD center console. So now it seems like a waste to me, especially considering the cost.
Shop here in Houston (IG @plainANsimple) charges $3k for the conversion. So be ready to shell out a few pennies.
I wouldn't be paying a shop to do the work, I just want the list of parts and information about the steps necessary and I would do it all myself . . . it wouldn't cost NEAR that much . . .
Off the top of my head, I can see I would need these things:
* Top console trim panel from F150
* F150 floor shifter
* Shifter cable for the floor shifter
* Wiring harness to the shifter in the console
Then, you should be able to just remove the shifter from the steering column, from the pictures I've seen, and you might need a new trim panel to cover that area
Should be able to get all those parts NEW, for FAR less than $1000, and pulling the seats and console to install the console trim panel, wiring harness, shifter, swap out the shifter cable, etc., should take no more than a day's work, so even paying someone to do it at the going rate of $125/hour, that's $1000 . . . not sure where they're coming up with the $3000 figure . . .
I don't have the exact figures for the trim panel for the console, but from what I am looking at here, the various iterations run between $180 and $220
So, for the sake of argument, let's say we have these prices:
New Shifter (complete) - $150 shipped
New Shifter Cable (complete) - $30
New Console Upper Trim Panel for Floor Shift - $235
Wiring harness for Floor Shifter (estimated) - $200
Total: $615 . . .
Can you think of any other parts that might be needed?
