Anyone have one? How do you like it? I am considering getting rid of my drop in plastic bedliner and getting one......it will match the interior of my Leer Topper.....Thanks!
I have a rubber bed mat on top of my sprayed on bed liner and I like it, it stops stuff from sliding around and if it gets oil on it I can pull it out and clean it. I never leave home without it.
It does look nice! Not handy for what I use my truck for but I can see where they would be desirable.
I have a couple of thick rubber mats in the back in case I throw any luggage back there to keep them above water level if any should get past the roll up cover. Easily removable to use truck bed for working.
I do not have a bedliner.
I've had 3 BedRugs so far and still have 2 of them. The oldest now will be 19 years old this November and has traveled 375k miles. It's held up to sitting in 110 degree heat without any apparent deterioration. The Velcro that holds the tailgate panel on gave out a long time back (probably around year 10) so I'm using small amounts of silicone to hold it in place, which is working fine. I really like them overall. If you set something really heavy on it, it will show depressions where that was for a little while after you remove it, as it takes a bit for the cushioning to recover from being heavily compressed. The basic piece, meaning the floor and sides never really give me any issues. They stay in place and the sides don't really fall down. I think I've had to stick them back up once or twice since new. It has been protected by a crappy leer cap (all leer caps seem to be crappy, compared to the other high end brands), but I lost the rear glass several years ago, so it's completely open from the back. That has not made any difference other than cleanliness.
I've found one downside. Something with a sharp point or edge can tear the bedrug. I was moving a 6' blade for my tractor and dropped the front edge as I was putting it in the bed. It tore about a 3" tear in the bottom, through the carpet and most of the cushion, but not all the way through. The other time I tore it, I had a 100gallon propane tank that slid to the back, hitting the tailgate pad with the handle and tore a gash in it. That one did go through completely, but the tailgate pad is much thinner.
Since I've had 3 of them, I'd buy another and wouldn't hesitate to do so. I think you do have to be aware it's not completely indestructible, but it will hold up for a long, long time with minimal care.
On edit, I forgot about the one in my wife's truck. So I've had 4 and still have 3. Hers sits under a tonneau cover, is now 12 years old and still looks like new. I guess I like them!
