Check engine light under acceleration
I have a 1989 f250 7.5L and my check engine light starts blinking under acceleration but extinguishes once I let off the gas

That means the computer senses a problem and now most likely has stored the code in Continuous Memory (CM).
Run the Key On Engine Off (KOEO) tests and Stored Code display from (CM).
