IAT Temp issue
All,
I'm new to your site but have enjoyed and appreciated all your posts and the knowledge shared.
The truck is a 2005 F250 SRW work horse w/ 236k mi. Bullitproof EGR cooler and stock valley oil cooler. Reman-ed FICM. I tow a 8500# dump trailer routinely.
I have a check engine light. I have a cheap OBD code scanner and a Scan Gauge II. My OBD scanner gave me the p0113 code. Research told me to look for IAT sensor issues. I went after the MAF and the manifold sensor (this one was clogged bad with oil and soot).
I'm still seeing IAT on the real time scan @-40. Connections look good. Wires are good. No other obvious issues. Running issues are reluctant rev's until temps come up. We don't get real cold here but, 45 deg. mornings are common and cold drivability is bunk.
I will need to fix the code issue sooner than later. CAlifornia smog.
Thanks in advance for any thoughts or advice!

P-0113, circus high, Short to voltage, open in signal return, faulty sensor, faulty pcm,
have you traced the wire harness for nicks , the IAT2 sensor gets sooted up in the intake, clean your Maff with Maff cleaner only, check the wire connection to Maff also disconnect and look at the pins , there has been some on here that the pins looked melted or burnt, hit it with some contact cleaner , I’ll look around and see if anything else pops up with your code.

Badford,
Thanks for the reply!
I replaced the Manifold and the MAF sensors with new. The IAT2 was clogged.
I'll take another look at the MAF connector. Lots of little pins there...
On the IAT2 lead I saw 4. something volts on the on terminal. I don't know if there is a spec for that.
I looked for ground on the other terminal and I saw resistance. I don't know if that means anything either.
Thanks!

This is ford values , as Ron showed on his temp was 40 Deg , base value shows 98.6 Deg Maff
Iat2 is 113 Deg ,
depending on altitude , out side temps and engine warmth , ford base lines are above , should be with in a few Deg .maff volts- Koeo 0, low 1.44, High 2.65
