Clark 5 Speed OD?
Got a few questions about my 1973 C-600. It’s equipped with the Clark 5 speed and I think it’s a 285V54 model. I have read that Clark also made an OD unit as well for these truck. Are any of these available anywhere? Also, would the 5 speed that’s in my C-600 fit in my 79 F-600 dump truck? It has a 4 speed and would like to upgrade it to a 5 speed. The only thing that looks different is the remote shifter mechanism that’s on my C-600. Can that be converted to the regular shifter? Any input (No pun intended) on this from anyone on this transmission? Thanks to my Brothers in Blue. GFT.
