code 212 , help !
I just rebuilted the engine with some mods : bored .030 ,9,2cr, ported F3TE heads & intake , lunati tow cam & kit , 28lbs bosch injectors, 400hp/500ftpds torque ....
Since I reinstalled the engine ,I keep getting code 212 .... Loss of ignition diagnostic monitor/SPOUT circuit grounded ....
The engine starts fine , idles low , but if I put it in gear will stabilize, when warmed up , idles at 800 rpm stable ,,,,,
I put it in gear , drive , it will go great for a while and suddenly it bucks on coasting and even more on smooth accell ,,,,,But , if I floor it it will accelerate normally ......and then the check engine appears ....back home : code 212 .....the worst is it does not do it all the time ....intermittent .
For now , I cleaned all the connectors with apropriate cleaner & compressed air , checked the pink wire from spout to ICM ,
I noticed that my ICM is gray ( on left inner fender ) seems original : p/n: E7DF-12A297-A2A
on all subjects that i read it says it should be black ??????
before the rebuild, I never had any code .....I`m lost ! passed too many hours on that project , i`m pooped ! ( 66 years young )

verified continuity between port 4 ( PCM ) and ICM w/pk wire = ,2 ohms = good
verified continuity between port 36 ( PCM ) and ICM pk wire ( spout circuit ) = ,2 ohms =good
what else ?
