You'll either need a ground or one of those larger antennas (can't remember, 1/2λ or 5/8λ) on fiberglass. If you need to remove it (e.g. for a parking garage with a 7' height restriction) you'll need a small ladder!
Get a tail light with a pigtail (like used for temporary trailer wiring)
Ground one lead and run the other to one side of the empty fuse socket and then the other.
See the light?
Pull the trim piece off near the fuse box and you'll see a huge ground lug with a couple of grounds already connected right there next to the fuse box. Easy access
Dentaway: I've been sold on just penetrating the grommet with my 10 gauge wire for a max of 40 amps instead of the fuse tap for a borderline 15 amps. Thanks,
Muecker: thanks too but I'm sold on the practicality of going thru the grommet.
Ray: Drilling a hole in the body only hurts the first time!
