my dome light, cigar lighter, and radio are not working. i have the constant hot wire on cd player, cigar lighter, and dome light all on the same fuse. the right fuse is in, 15 amp aga. the cigar lighter and the dome light and radio are getting voltage at the wires but when i try to turn on the light, heat the cigar lighter, or turn on the radio they do not work. could i need a higher fuse in the fuse box or what? everything worked last night. thanks for any help
Electrical problems are the best.........lol. Seem to come and go when they eant to. First thing I would ask is what did you do last night (if anything) that might have triped these up? I usually aways find my self at fault when it comes to electrical. Major thing i learned that just as important as power is the ground. If its not grounded I dont care how much juice i give it, it just will not work. i dont think your dome and lighter are connected but check the grounds as wellas you checked your power.......

When you say that you turn them ALL on, they dont work ? Sounds like a overloaded circuit and it is popping the fuse. The cig lighter draws pretty high current, you may have to get one of the loads on to a different fuse in the fuse block. Do NOT increase the fuse ampacity sizes in your fuse block ! The wires are fused according to gauge wire size , increasing the fuse size may creat a fire hazard because of overloading the wire and the larger fuse not protecting it properly,

i fiexed the problem...it was my fuse box. there was a wire on the same circuit that was cute on the back of the box and it was touching the firewall. i cut and taped the wire and ieverything works...the wiring isnt e4xactly stock that is why the cigar and dome light are on the same ciruit...thanks ive almost finished my project [putting all the interior back in today and tomorrow thanks again
