I have a 99 f350 DRW 4x4 needs new tires I will be hauling loads of cattle, flatbeds with tractors/balers, and flatbeds with hay bales. A lot of it will be in the fields but a lot will be on highway being that it’s my daily driven truck. What is y’all suggestions on tires?
A good AT Load E range should be plenty of tire. Since it looks like you’re in LA, I’m going to assume you don’t get much snow. I would look at theHankook Dynapro ATM, excellent traction, long life and quiet. Personally, I’d stay away from an MT because although aggressive off road aka in the fields however, you’ll lose day to day traction on slippery roads. It’s easier to compensate for wet fields than wet roads.
I shopped on line for snowies for my SD-250. I hooked up with Nokian Hakkapeliitta for 120/corner. I brought ad to my local "we match prices" tire dealer, and he matched em. Awesome deal.
Nokkian tires don’t get the attention that they deserve. I don’t think they offer an E load rated tire but I’ve known some Canadian people that ran them on their cars and swear by them.
I have Mickey thompson ATZp3's and have been happy with them. They are built on the same 3 ply sidewall as the cooper STMaxx (cooper owns M/T), load range E and are an aggressive all terrain. Might be what you are looking for.
