Ive deleted a 2010 6.4 and 2 6.7 2015s. I have a 2011 i never did delete. It is going to be traded on a 2019. Pull a trailer at times but most of time its a 10 mile trip to town. 2011 wants to regen often...every 150 miles or so on those short trips...but ive never had an issue if regen isnt finished. Will 2019 want to regen as often? Very happy with deleted trucks, but used for feeding cattle so never get above 30 mph. Just trying to decide if its worth the money on a newer 6.7. Thanks
The new generation will take care of doing a regen without notifying you at all. It won't tell you to drive until the regen is complete.
A few of us are using a fuel additive to increase the regen period. Some guys are getting up to 500 miles between regens. Mine aren't up to that amount, more like 400 miles. There are two additives available: Better Diesel Fuel Burn Catalyst and the other is Enerburn. I'm using FBC.
My 6.7L works so well and has so much power that I have no intention of deleting it. If I'm not paying attention I don't notice that a regen is taking place.
