missing key fob.
it is a 95 Eddie Bauer edition with electric windows and locks how do i find out if it is supposed to have a key fob? what kind of mileage can i get with a 4.0 and an automatic with 4wd i would use it for a winter car because the 2wd pickup i have sucks for traction in the winter.

I would really suspect that an Eddie Bauer edition would have originally had key fobs. Does it have the 5-button keyless entry keypad on the driver's door?
You could try one of those VIN decoder websites that are supposed to be able to either provide the window sticker for your particular vehicle or at least a list of the options your vehicle was fitted with.

Programming a fob for a certain vehicle is relatively easy to do, but I am not sure about a '95 model. I've done a late-'90s Taurus, a 2000 F-350, and my 2002 Explorer. I actually had more than one vehicle using the same fob before. If you have a fob from one of your other vehicles, or if you acquire a different/new fob, you could give it a try.
