Hey Folks. My CC stopped working on my 93 Ford F150 4WD. I do not know when it stopped but I tried to use it on a recent trip and its not even trying to indicate that its on. I checked the fuse and the only thing I can think of is that I removed the load leveler box underneath dash used for pulling loads. However I think I used it after that. How do I start troubleshooting this issue? Thanks
If your horn is not working along with the CC my issue was the clock spring. Replaced it and all was well. When I got my 91 my cruise wouldn't work and I pushed all the buttons multiple times and it started working. I would try your horn first. Sandy
I guess you guys need to give him a chance to check the easy stuff first like his vacuum lines. There’s a vacuum line going from that brake petal vacuum release thing through your firewall to your servo. Then a short piece that wraps around the servo. The vacuum source is tee'd to a reservoir in front on your coolant tank. I am describing my 92 off of memory from redoing my vacuum lines.

What/where was the light indicating it was ever on?
I will be watching this thread closely,my 87 f250 has the similiar issue, cruise control switch turns on but does not work.Horn also doesn't work.
Please post up your results.
I have no clue if the OP tried what I put in post #2 but those symptoms not working together is almost sure to be the clock spring has failed. Especially if you are sure they were both working previously. Sandy
Sorry guys. I got sent to a job in GA, right in the path of that storm and I will not be home for 2 weeks so I cannot do any trouble shooting. I will get on it as soon as I get home.
I have a light on mine that indicates it is on.It lights up but does not respond to setting speed.
What year truck you have?
You must have a aftermarket speed control. I never seen any trucks of this era with a speed(cruse) control indicator as factory. I even tried to make a indicator light but the way the speed control module is made, there was no easy way to do it.
