Would this work for my F250 truck, as the engine was pulled from a mustang....
"Rebuilt Ford FE 410 engine" The 410 is a Ford 390 block with the 428 1U crankshaft. This block has been bored 60 over so the actual cubic inch is a 422. All machine work is complete. New pistons, rings, bearings, the works. The cam is a Lunauti Voodoo. The heads are the 6090 R and have had the exhaust bosses drilled for the 16 bolt cobra manifolds. They are also fitted with new valves, hardened seats, and the matching Lunnauti heavy duty springs.
My current FE 390 is getting old and tired and this engine I found for sale is just recently rebuilt, just needs gaskets etc and install.... I have edel performer intake and FPA headers
At taking a block out to .060 over I'd hope the shop did a sonic test on the cyl.
But back in the day, I had a 1961 HP 390 Bored out to .060 over myself an ran 11.1 pistons that= 4.1/8 and cut heads 060 with no problems.
I never had any over heating issues in a 55 2dr cp. but fan was very close to the radiator no shroud.

Thanks, for input. I have some concerns too, as don't know the whole history on block/boring/sonic testing etc.... or the shop that did it.... I think it may be safer to just start from scratch with a block that hasn't had work done on it before
thanks!
