Hey looking for info on a possible engine swap on my old 95 ford f150. Its has the straight 6 in it now but I was wanting to start messing around with it instead of letting it collect dust. I want to put a 302 in it if it is possible. If so I was looking for info on any changes needing to be made besides the harness and ECM. Will the cooling package need to be modified? Will I need a bigger radiator? And info helps thanks!

I did the very same to my '95 after the 300 six died. But I swapped in a 351 from a '95 F250. For starters, you will need the engine, engine bay harness, ECM, Y pipe, engine perches, flexplate or flywheel, and radiator,...the radiator for the six won't work for the V8 because the top is on the wrong side....
Thanks for the help I like the idea of a 351 better
My old six died almost two years ago and I found an old guy on Craigslist who was selling a 351. Luckily he sold me the engine, the engine bay harness, the engine mount perches, the Y pipe, and radiator all for $750. The flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, and release bearing I got from ebay, while the ECM I got from Rock Auto.......
