PCM — rebuild / replace / upgrade?

For whatever reason, my program code isn't listed (JOG1). Google does have a few results for used boxes, but I am still wondering about whether I'd be better off replacing with a Lightning PCM for the tranny. I do thank you for that link, however, as I didn't realize that at least one of the Lightning PCMs (according to your source) was MAF.

Updated my linked thread & all is good with outcome.
Here's a primer on program codes. I thought the 5.8 section (towards bottom) had more program codes to go with listed engineering numbers, but no.
Kinda' hard to find computers by program codes in a retail setting, but sometimes you get lucky.

It's all good, glad you got back when you could.
To be truthful, a lightning box (maf or sd which you've got I believe) would only really useful if you had a supporting cast of parts to go with it.
You should be able to get along with just about any 5.8/E4 PCM for your year.
