Need Dust Shield/Backing Plates

Hi folks, I haven't been on the site in a while but I have a problem that I hope you folks can help me with.
My old 1988 F 250 needs a front brake job and requires the backing plates to be replaced.
Problem is, no one has them. Not the regular parts store, rockauto.com not my Ford dealer. I even looked for them at the Dorman site.
Anyone know of a supplier for these parts?
Thanks for any help.
Ralph

Unobtainium.

Each truck I have bought and acquired, I have removed them completely since they were rotting and rusting away.

Thank for the input even though that's not the answer I was hoping for.

I looked years ago and couldn't find replacements.

You may Try JBG (Jeff's Bronco Graveyard) or LMR (Late Model Restoration)

Those are the only 2 places that come to mind find that Unobtainium.

Most vehicles older than a decade or so in states with road salt don't have dust shields. They rust off or mechanics tear them off when they start rubbing the rotor. There are no ill effects to not running dust shields. That's why nobody sells them aftermarket.
