Use an OTC medication for pain! Then take a towel and tie apposing corners together. Hang it over a door ****, then lay on the floor with your head about 1 to 1.5 feet from the door. Lay your head in this sling so it supports your head but is more toward the neck. the height off the floor should be 2-4 inches. This pulls the neck away for the body nd relives the pressure. twice a day for 5-7 days. typically you should have some relief after the first time.

I'll try and rig something up and give it a try. I have very degenerated discs and am very stiff..
