Hello everyone,
I’m new to the forum so first off, it’s nice to meet everyone.
I have a question regarding peep mirrors. I own a 1986 Ford F-250 and I was thinking about adding a peep mirror to it. I was wondering if anyone new if this is possible and if anyone has done this before. I will attempt to attach some images of the mirror I wanted to install. they look to be fine and capable of fitting but I wanted to double check before buying them(via online).
Thank you everyone.
The thing about mirrors, you would think more and larger are better, but there comes a point to where they tend to block your vision on the ends, especially when scanning a intersection before proceeding. Just something to think about.
I like a large mirror but as Dave pointed out not so large it blocks your view.
A F250 is a large truck and I feel the peep mirrors are just too small.
Even when used on some hot rods I think they are too small but that's me.
Now the only thing I can see why they would not work other than size is the gap at the top of the door to rain gutter.
If you look that mirror fits over the top of the door and if you don't have the gap you cant close the door.
