Hello Fordsters,
my problem is mounting a stock ford power steering pump to a 1974 351 windsor that I transplanted into my 1979 f150. The bracket that came with the pump doesnt appear to line up with the holes in front of engine block. Should I buy a universal bracket? Where is the proper location to mount this pump? Which pulley should it line up with? Damper pulley? How much distance is needed between pulleys? Should it be a certain height and distance from the damper pulley? In other words where is the proper mounting location for this pump? Thanks.

1974 351W would have come from a car. Here's the LTD pic, notice that there are two P/S pump mounting brackets (3C511 & 3A732).
