17 powerstroke deleted with ez lynk tyrant tunes, seeing about 1150ish wot on highway to 100mph. Is 1100-1200 safe zone? What’s the max egt on just tunes and delete before I see failure?
Max is 1250 aluminum melts at this you hit 1400-1600 for a few second not good for longevity, 1300 hundred maybe a min long. you stay under 1150 you can hold it all day tho
Depends if your towing or not. I wouldn't run sustained 1300 for hours but if you hit 1450 for 8 or 9 seconds it isn't going to hurt anything. I have my alarm set at 1450 and hit it every now and then. 60000km so far and running like a top. If I tow however I will drop the power to 1 and egt's should be safe as it's basically a stock tune. For the record I haven't done allot of towing with this thing thou.
