ford courier fuse box
can anyone tell me where i can find a fuse box for a 74 ford courier, the junk yards don't have any because they said that the truck is to old and i want to get the truck running again. so any info. will be of help

If the fuse box is shot then all of the wiring is probably pretty well worn out. You might want to check into getting a replacement wiring system from one of the vendors listed in the back of a custom truck magazine.

You can also check in a better junkyard that is out of the big cities. Those pick-a-part places don't keep vehicles long.

Try car-part.com its a online listing of a couple thousand wrecking yards. I got a new one for my 74 courier there. I totaly agree with tourque, you wiring is probably at least partly shot if not totally gone. Thats what killed my fuse box in the first place. I don't know what year your courie is, but mine looked like a wiring rats nest when I opened it up. Not being the most electrically inclined, it gave me the ******* at first, but trust me, its no where near as bad as it looks. Just get a good diagram even the haynes one is not bad, and dig in.

Don't forget that if you have a 74 courier the 1970-76 models should interchange, since they should all have the little 1.8L engine in them. And like big brown said, Mazda trucks were the same. I don't know where you live but where I am at there is not shortage of Ford Courier pickups.
