Shell Fuel Rewards Program...one and done?
I joined up and the first time I try to fill up it stops at twenty gallons. That's not going to work. I typically fill up at one-eighth tank taking 24-25 gallons.
And no I'm not doing two transactions.......really?

I've had stations that would shut down the pumps at some limit. One in particular wouldn't let me go over $75, they said it was a limit my bank put on my card. I called BS because I have bought over $300 at other stations without issue. It is something in the way that station has their system set up.

Shell Fuel Rewards clearly state the limit is 20 gallons per transaction. If it doesn't fill it up, I usually just do it again and get the discount on the other 5-10 gallons it takes. Takes 30 secs to start over, so no biggie to me.

I use it when Shells prices are the same as others. I find pricing here in Indiana is all over the place. I am one of those people who fill up when I am down to a quarter of a tank. 20 gallons gets me close enough to full that I just leave after 20 gallons. I am not sure how much they make per gallon, but they lose a couple of gallons from me per stop. Every once in awhile, I get .10 off. Still haven't figure out what gets you the extra discount. Speedway has some close to the same deal.
