roaring front left side wheel assembly
Question for you experts - 2000 7.3 4x4 - I have an on again, off again roaring coming from my front left wheel assembly when I brake below 15-20 mph. Its not the brakes - plenty of brake pads left and no scrubbing, no feedback in the brake pedal or steering wheel, no pulsing or jumping from the rotors. Doesn't seem to be tied to regular braking vs hard braking either. Hubs are not locked. Just returned from a 3800 mile road trip. I had new tires put on and an alignment before I left, which is also when I checked the brakes. Noticed it for the first time half way through my trip. Roaring gets louder as more brake is applied and the speed decreases, but it also did it a few times while not engaging the brake, as I accelerated from a stop up until about 10 mph. Not one instance the last day of the return trip (600 miles), then I heard it a few days later while running an errand. Not constant, comes and goes and I haven't heard it in 2 days. Thoughts/insight? Thanks everyone
