Help with 2015 Platinum?

I do the same with trade ever 4-5 years. The dealer called me and said they found a short in the rear window defroster, which might be my electrical problem. I then asked about the transmission problem and they said that this might be the cause(which i can not see how, since i have had this issue for over a year) and they will fix the electrical then look at transmission. The electrical is not under warranty cause i have the 50,000 mile one from ford but i bought an extended warranty from ford when i purchased the truck but i forgot the name of it cause it is in the truck now. I wonder if that will cover it? I now that one goes up to 100,000 miles but not sure the name.
