X/Modded B Codes Ride Height vs. Coil Spring Conversion Ride Height
I recently upgraded ATS "X" and "B" code leafs on my 2001 4x4 7.3L Excursion. I am now seriously considering doing the coil spring conversion up front along with the newer front and rear axles.
I understand that coil sprung trucks have a little more lift than stock leaf sprung trucks. Would my X be roughly the same height it is now after the coil spring conversion in the front? Currently my truck is perfectly level front to rear and I'm afraid if I keep the rear B code leafs after swap the front will be noticeably lower. Thoughts?
An inch of those measurements are the bigger rims (18") on all four tires. If you have time, come on over and look at it and drive it if you like. I'm in between Arkansas and La Grange nowadays, but still work in Austin for two more years.

Hey Mike, thanks for the offer! I'd love to take your X for a spin. I'm in San Antonio, not too far from Austin, but I doubt I'll have a chance to meet up with you. I just noticed in your signature that you have modified B codes in the back and D coils up front. I have B codes in back currently, guess I just need those D coils up front for the swap and I'll be in good shape.
If you don't mod the B's in the rear, you should be level with D coils. I am a little higher in the rear as you can see from the charts. That helps a LOT with sag when I put a trailer on there, though.
