i recently purcheaed a 2019 f350 DRW and thought it came with a 3/4 hitch pin it does not though as I found out today would the BOLT locking Hitch pin be good? I didn’t know if it was rated for the higher weights 12-18k equipment trailers I will haul a few times a year. Anyone ever use them? They worth it?
I bought the BOLT hitch pin and the packaging says that it has the same rating as OEM. Doesn’t list a number but I’m assuming they did their research before attaching that sentence.

My truck did come with a hitch pin and two reducers. However, I wanted a good locking hitch pin and bought a Reese locking pin. It quickly bent and was unusable. I thought it might have been some unusual condition that caused it so I bought another that bent just as quickly.
Ordered the Bolt hitch pin about 50,000 towing miles ago and have not had a single problem with it since. It's nice that I never have to look around for the key, but on the other hand sometimes a bit inconvenient because I have to turn the truck off to unlock the pin.
