What's the difference?
I have a 1995 F350 with the 7.3 PSD. I NEVER hear the turbo spooling up on it like I do on an ' 01 F350 that a friend owns. His sounds like a big rig winding up. Mine just makes the regular deisel rattling noises. What is the difference?

The two trucks have slightly different turbos, and if your friend's truck has an aftermarket intake, you'd be able to hear the turbo better on his. When I put my TYMAR on, I could hear the turbo much better than before.

Thanks Quad. I've only had my truck a few months and don't know a whole lot about it (other than I love driving it). I wanted to take a look at the pics of your truck but I guess my puter is just too slow. Thanks again
