It is very rusty now , we got 5 inches and counting so far. There will be plenty of salt on the roads now, that's how it is

As long as the brake lines don’t disappear, it is just cosmetic.

I’ve had that is sue before, it was the ABS sensor that got disconnected.

I am still able to stop so that is all that matters..I had new brake lines put on it several years ago and think they should still be good. I guess it wouldn't hurt to check again..
