None really that I have noticed. I would assume if I really got on the pedal there would be some.

I highly doubt that I will be putting any emissions back on as I live in Canada and there really aren't any restrictions. Especially where I live, Yellowknife we idle our trucks a ton in the winter. As of now, the computer has the EGR disabled but I will be looking into block off plates for sure.

Sweet, another deleted truck! One of the first mods to do on a modern diesel, is to take that crap off, fall back and hit a 3 pointer right in the trash with that garbage.

The "Ford" regen process is not as good, in my opinion, and the GM / Duramax design. GM uses a "9th injector" so everything is happening post-engine. Ford uses a less expensive route and injects extra diesel on the exhaust stroke so hot fuel has to travel out of the cylinders, and through the turbocharger, before exiting through the downpipe and finally being combusted in the DOC. This allows the potential for diesel fuel to dilute crankcase oil via blow-by, although the risk is minimized because there is virtually no compression...exhaust valves are mostly open.

I've also wondered about environmental impact when all that soot is "incinerated" and sent out the exhaust pipe.

You do realize your engine warranty is 5/100?

Haha, I hear ya!

The reality is, the only reason your Super Duty would even need to go back to the dealer for warranty work is for emissions or death wobble. Ford cant seem to engineer a truck without it death wobbling, so there's no use in trying to get them to fix it. On the emission side of things, if there's no emissions equipment to malfunction, then there's no chance of warranty work needed!

Just curious as you post about how great deleting the truck is and your knowledge of going back to the dealer for warranty work etc. are you speaking from experience of just what you read on the forums? Do you own a 2017 or newer that has Actually been deleted?

But the engine is 5yr/100k.. that's really the only concern about warranty being voided by a delete. 36k really has no impact on a delete. As long as you are willing to give up your engine warranty, no reason to wait till 36k.
