The only problem I have with your explanation is why did I just start hearing it when my truck is pushing 80k on the odometer? I've owned the truck since new and this is not the kind of noise I would have missed. A thought just occurred to me.....I suppose that some sort of build up on the butterfly as the truck ages could cause it not to seal as well and make such a whistle. Oh well, as I said above, I am just going to keep an ear on it and not worry about it unless it gets worse. Thanks!
