Hub Assembly (MOOG/Timken)
Getting some mixed impressions from reading old threads about hub assemblies, are MOOG and Timken one in the same now? Many have commented Timken only, however the threads from 2016 and on imply they are the same. Either way I ordered 2 MOOG's from Autozone, with the 20% off, $20 off for rewards and $20 rebate going on right now was hard to pass up. Shipped to the door in 1 day for $134 after I receive the rebates.

Moog has been owned by Federal-Mogul since the 1990’s
The Timken Company owns Timken and others speciality bearing companies.
The the 99-04 superduty hubs are a poor design to begin with, I can not wrap my head around buying a budget brand unit.
Hopefully those reward points are good for roadside assistance when the known low quality hub fails.

Like you read my mind, just back from the parts store with some Lucas (Red) to pack the hole where the ABS sensor is.
