identification FE 390 engine

identification FE 390 engine
hi guys,
i came across this engine block with numbers: Cg ME A and 6J29.7
can this be a 390?

I think you mean C6ME. It could be anything from a 352 up to a 428. Use a wood dowel in a spark plug hole and measure the stroke. Other than removing a cylinder head that's about all you can do.

C6ME-A = 1966 FE (352/390/410/428) block casting number.

6J29 = Block cast September (J) 29, 1966 (6).
