Exterior Door latch does not work

Exterior Door latch does not work
I replaced the door lock actuator a few months back and I recall a small (what I thought was pink) plastic piece snapping which I "fixed" with a zip tie. I'm guessing that part broke for good this time since the exterior door latch does not work, but the interior one works fine. I figured out why the door handle stayed open and didn't work. The threaded piece slipped up in the zipties. Here's some pics. I still need to replace the zipties though. I'm looking for the part that is supposed to be where the zipties are
